Online October Board Meeting

An online AHHA board meeting has been scheduled for 7 pm on Monday, Oct. 19. Residents can access the meeting at meet.google.com/pup-ckgz-vzk As part of the meeting’s agenda, the board will be making plans for the Annual Meeting, scheduled for November. The Annual Meeting provides a detailed review of the past year’s activities. Additionally, the budget for the following year is approved and elections are held for the Board of Directors. The board will also hear a presentation from Ben McCabe, Public Works Project Manager, about the Gregory Boulevard Improvement Project. He will give an update on the current design, some recent additions to meet the needs of business owners along the route, and the potential construction timeline in addition to taking public input on the project....

UPDATE: THIS REQUEST HAS BEEN DENIED BY THE BOARD OF ZONING ADJUSTMENT The Board of Zoning Adjustment will be holding a hearing on May 18, 2020 at 9:00 am to consider approving a special exception request for a fence built at 3 E. 69th Terrace. Traditionally hearings are held in the Council Chamber on the 26th floor of City Hall, 414 East 12th Street. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic this may not be possible and staff is pursuing alternatives that would allow participation remotely, including teleconference or submitting comments via email. As part of this meeting's agenda, the board will discuss a zoning variance for a proposed two-story addition to the home at 202 E. 68th Terrace. The lot calls for structures to be set back from the street 25 feet.
