Armour Hills Homes Association, founded in 1925, is the homes association of the Armour Hills neighborhood. It is organized as a Missouri nonprofit corporation and is tax-exempt under IRC Section 501(c)(4).
Homeowners in Armour Hills are members of the homes association and elect its Board of Directors. Officers of the homes association, which include the President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary, and committees of the Board of Directors, are in turn elected or designated by the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors meets bi-monthly at HJ’s Youth and Community Center and homeowners are welcome to attend. The annual meeting of the members of the homes association is held in November of each year.
Subject to the oversight of the Board of Directors, committees and officers, the day-to-day activities of Armour Hills Homes Association are managed by FirstService Residential (FSR), a national homes association management company. FSR services include dues collection, budgeting, homeowner account management, accounts receivable/accounts payable management and other accounting services; improvement and maintenance of the neighborhood islands and pocket parks, supplemental snow removal for the neighborhood streets, and other project management services, directly or through subcontracts; and enforcement of Armour Hills covenants, restrictions and monitoring compliance with Kansas City zoning regulations and permit requirements.
