Deanna Johnson, Events Committee Chair

Deanna was born and raised in the mountains of Idaho. She attended Idaho State University where she met her husband, Kendall, and graduated with a degree in Health Education. After graduation, she opened A Day to Adore Photography and started her career as a small business owner.

Deanna and her family moved to Kansas City in 2012 and immediately fell in love with their new home. After bouncing from a downtown loft, to an NKC bungalow, to an OMG colonial, they moved to Armour Hills in 2019 with the hope of being here for a while.

Deanna and Kendall have three sons, a dog, and a bearded dragon. They enjoy traveling, spending time outdoors, mountain biking, exploring the amazing food scene of Kansas City, and sharing drinks on their (finally completed) patio. She is an avid thrift hunter and if you see furniture going in and out of the house, no they are not moving. She’s redecorating, again. She is excited to be a part of the AHHA board and looks forward to serving our neighbors and caring for the interests of our unique neighborhood. If you see her out and about please say hello (and volunteer to help with the events committee).

Deanna is serving her first term on the board, which will end in November 2023.

She has been active in Armour Hills as well, taking on the role of Block Captain in 2004 and more recently serving on the Safety Committee. Devoted to her community, Terry served on 2 HOA boards and volunteered for community events.
