Tiffany Moore – President / Acting Treasurer

Tiffany has lived in Armour Hills since 2002, having moved into the neighborhood on the very day of the infamous ice storm.  Her passion for gardening and working on old houses brought her to Armour Hills.  Tiffany owns and operates Built Kansas City, LLC, a certified women-owned business (WBE) focused on sustainable building practices.  She holds degrees in both Industrial Technology and Construction Management and presents seminars and educational programs on sustainable construction, Lean Construction, and project management.  In her spare time, she also serves on industry and non-profit boards geared toward improving quality and efficiency in the built environment.

Originally from Iowa, her family still lives in and around the family farm, where her nieces are continuing the tradition as fifth-generation farmers.

Gino Serra – Vice President

Serra sqGino has served as a director on the Armour Hills board since 2012 and as Vice President in 2014.  Gino, his wife Paetra, and their two daughters have resided in Armour Hills since 1994.  Professionally, he is an attorney at Bryan Cave LLP, where he practices corporate law, focusing on nonprofit organizations. He has been included in The Best Lawyers in America(R), Non-profit/Charities Law since 2012 and is also the Vice Consul of Italy for Western Missouri and Kansas.

Sam Beckman – Director

Sam BeckmanSam is an architect and principal at ACI Boland Architects. Sam is known by his colleagues as the project orchestrator and team player, he is able to skillfully arrange and bring the team together to achieve and surpass the desired outcome. He eagerly embraces the smallest hint of an idea and with teamwork and collaboration leads the entire team through the whole building process. As a strong communicator, Sam is able to stimulate and motivate others as well as values each viewpoint. His personality makes him readily approachable and his enthusiasm is contagious.

Sam received a bachelor’s degree in environmental design from the University of Missouri and a master’s degree in architecture from the University of Kansas. Outside of the office Sam enjoys working on his house, golfing, fishing, and has a competition BBQ team. Sam has lived in Armour Hills for 7 years and loves spending time with his wife and daughter, who are the joys of his life.

Stephen Beagle – Director

A Brookside resident since 2004, Stephen moved to Armour Hills in 2012 after being charmed by the neighborhood on a walk. He and his partner Joe found just the right home in need of lots of TLC and have been fixing it up ever since. Professionally, Stephen has worked for Cerner since 1997, where he is a Technical Project Manager specializing in software development and process improvement. In addition to honing his home improvement skills, he enjoys walking in the neighborhood, hiking, gardening, and most other things that involve playing in the dirt. As a board member, he is particularly interested in protecting and improving the green spaces in Armour Hills and helping neighbors by connecting them with resources they need.

Paul Oxler – Director

paul-headshotPaul has lived in Armour Hills with his family since 2014. He was drawn to the neighborhood for its sense of community, walkability, and access to local businesses and restaurants. An avid marathoner and triathlete, he also enjoys the close proximity to the Trolley Track Trail. He enjoys renovating older homes, and his current home is his fourth remodeling project. He has a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Communications, and his career has included experience in industries ranging from advertising, government and his family’s small business.  He’s a native of the Kansas City area, and his great-grandparents were among the first home owners in Armour Hills.

Holland Humphrey

Holland has lived in the Kansas City area for 14 years, moving to Armour Hills in 2016 to fulfill a desire to live in one of Kansas City’s most desirable neighborhoods. Holland is interested in joining the board of directors to help Armour Hills remain the fabulous place it is to live, whatever that entails. Holland is already involved in Armour Hills, serving as a block captain and a member of the ad hoc committee on neighborhood security.

Originally from Oklahoma, Holland earned a degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Oklahoma. He relocated to Kansas City from the gulf coast at Mobile, Alabama, with H&R Block, where he is employed as a Senior Database Administrator. In addition to IT, Holland’s professional background includes finance and accounting.

Holland enjoys cooking, reading, and is an avid sports fan, particularly of the Chiefs, Royals, and Sporting KC. Holland and his 2 children, Drew and Lucy, enjoy walking the neighborhood with their dog Beret admiring the beautiful architecture. He is active in a neighborhood church, Christ Community, and particularly enjoys working with the men’s Bible study group and their work in the Kansas City Fellows House.

Dr. Edmund C. Brackett – Director

After a near two-decade absence, Edmund and his wife, Dr. Virginia (Ginger) Brackett, returned to the Kansas City Area, purchasing their current home in Armour Hills approximately four years ago. During their time away, they lived in a variety of locations ranging from rural Oklahoma to Chicago’s Gold Coast while Edmund worked as a research administrator at several colleges and universities. Prior to pursuing a career in higher education, Edmund served as an advocate and community organizer struggling to eliminate the causes, and ameliorate the effects, of poverty. A disabled Vietnam War veteran and proud recipient of the Army’s Combat Medical Badge, Edmund will strive as an AHHA Board member to improve the life quality and safety of all neighborhood residents while supporting enhanced transparency and accountability.
